(city council hearing) Bilingual Chinese & Vietnamese Voting Ballots

BOSTON CITY COUNCIL HEARING on
BILINGUAL CHINESE and VIETNAMESE BALLOTS in CITY of BOSTON

MassVote is urging people to come support Chinese and Vietnamese Bilingual ballots in Boston.

The ballots have been in place for two years in neighborhoods in Boston with large numbers of Chinese and Vietnamese-spekaing citizens.

Unless the City Council and Legislature act, they will expire at the end of this year.

A hearing will be held on May 5, 2008, from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Boston City Council Chambers at City Hall, 5th Floor.
