Carmen Ortiz, MA's first Latino and female US attorney in Massachusetts, was sworn in today.

(Boston, Mass., 11 January 2010) -- Carmen Ortiz, daughter of Puerto Rican immigrants and a native of Spanish Harlem in New York City, was sworn in today as U.S. attorney in Massachusetts.  She is the state's first Latino and female U.S. attorney.
