Diabetes type 2 affects many Latinos.  For every two Latino children born in the USA after the year 2000, one will develop diabetes at some point in his or her life.

Boston Latino TV talks to some of the persons who participated in the 2008 El Jolgorio Navideño celebration, a Puerto Rican tradition held during the Christmas season.

Among the interviewees are event organizer David Morales of Jolgorio of Massachusetts, Jolgorio board chairman Rick Colon, Grammy-nominee and musician Gonzalo Grau, and Boston city Councilor Michael Flaherty.
