video: Arrested Boston Politician Denounces FBI and Councilors

Boston city Councilor Chuck Turner was arrested by the FBI on attempted extortion charges on Friday, Nov. 21, 2008, followed by much media publicity. 

Council president Maureen Feeney summarily stripped Turner of his chairmanships of two Council committees.  In addition, she called for a meeting of the city councilors, to take place on Monday to discuss additional action against Turner.

An outraged Turner held a meeting and press conference of his own on Monday, flanked by a crowd of supporters in front of Boston City Hall.

NNNonline.org taped the conference and talked to some of Councilor Turner's supporters.
