Programa de variedades, en español dirigido a la comunidad latina residenciada en Cambridge. En el programa se abordarán temas de interés científico, legal, educativo, social, cultural, gastronómico, deportivo, gente creativa en el área de manualidades y artes plásticas, y nuestros representantes de la música latina. How appropriate for your expanded web portal to be launched on the eve of Martin Luther King Day. Please convey to all the participants how excited those of us are who celebrate diversity in all its forms. To think all of these voices are now able to be heard is so, so important. It'll take a lot of time for the significance of this step to register, not just in the Boston area but literally all over the country--and beyond. All of us will be enriched by so many perspectives that are built on generations of living in the real world. These are perspectives that can't be captured adequately by the major media. Your venture goes beyond politics. It taps into the very essence of our society, not "Society" in the old definition but the society of people who have so much to share with one another. When I learn about other cultures, other perspectives, other ways of looking at the world, I am broadened as a person. Your efforts in this venture will contribute to a better understanding and appreciation of one another.
