They Called me Lizzy. . .from slavery to the White House

Elizabeth Keckly is known as Mary Todd Lincoln’s dressmaker and author of Behind the Scenes, 30 years a slave and four years in the White House.
 
Join us under a tent on Section 2 as the East Haddam Stage Company tells the story of Lizzy in this one-person show, which is full of twists and turns, bravery and resiliency.
 
In the event of heavy rain, this will be rescheduled. Event Length: 1.5 hours 
 
 $5 members, $8 nonmembers
